Ben Nye Matte Creme Foundation VS. L.A. Colors My Stick Panstick Foundation

So my Holy Grail end all favorite creme base by far has to be Ben Nye's Creme Foundation.  It's easy to find shades in.  It's pretty affordable.  It's pretty easy to access.  However, as of recent I realize that if I hit pan on it I could have a make up emergency.  What would happen if I had a show?  So I always try to find affordable alternatives.  Even if they are when knowing the purchase is made no the best decision.  So I was in Dollar General and I was curious to try LA Color's Panstick.  I know in the past Blanche Babcock my buddy didn't give it a good review.  But I like to use products and give my personal opinion, too.

So let's start with the fact that there was only 2 colors available in the panstick.  That was pretty much ivory pale and warm beige.  I chose the warm beige because it was a closer match to me.  On first application of the panstick I noticed it has a good consistency and melds to my skin.  It packs on good for FULL coverage which is important in drag.  However, I feel the shade is a big off.  It's quite orangey.  I put it on my face to do a test on it.  I'm not sure if I'm completely pleased or not.  Might have to wear it in full face to give a full review.

But on first application I give this product a...

First Blog Entry! My First Trip to ULTA!!

Hey Everyone!  So thanks for reading the first blog entry for "The Queen."  Hopefully I stay on top of it like my fellow make up guru colleagues and keep everyone up to date.  I do know for sure.  If I go missing on YouTube.  Chances are you will be at least updated on here with what's going on.  Seeing that I could write out what's up.

So to Ulta.  I love it!  When I first walked in.  They had an amazing sale on Too Face Eyeshadow Insurance.. $9.  So that from the beginning was like.  WOW  I'm going to love this place.  Then they had Dermalogica.  What we use at the spa here at MCC.  So I was ecstatic to see that.

Here are some photos of my trip to Ulta!  Hope everyone is doing well.

Much Love,

Mark
